In 2022 Agricola Huilmay explored a new business in the agricultural field. We diversified by planting Alfalfa. Our objective is to provide good quality forage and improve the quality of the soil.

 

Alfalfa is widely used as a livestock feed and is cultivated for this purpose throughout the world. It has a life cycle of between five and twelve years, depending on the variety used, as well as the climate; in benign conditions it can reach twenty years. It reaches a height of 1 meter, developing dense clusters of small purple flowers. Its roots are usually very deep, being able to measure up to 4.5 meters.
